Hey Meadows Players,

Another busy week at Cross Court Pickleball at The Meadows! Courts have been packed and it’s been great seeing so many players getting in quality games, improving their skills, and supporting each other on the courts.

This past weekend we hosted a Women’s and Men’s DUPR Event and the level of play was fantastic. Events like these are a great way for players to challenge themselves, track progress, and enjoy some competitive but friendly matches.

Thank you to everyone who continues to bring such positive energy into the facility. The welcoming atmosphere here doesn’t happen by accident, it comes from players being respectful, encouraging, and supportive of each other every time they step on court.

Women’s Novice League

This is a fun, supportive self-led league designed for newer players looking to gain match experience, build confidence, and meet other women at a similar level.

Players rotate partners each week, giving you the opportunity to play with different teammates and experience a variety of game styles in a relaxed league setting. While the league is self-led, matchups and structure are provided so players can focus on getting games in and building confidence on court.

This league started this week, but we still have space available and can add a few additional players for the remaining three weeks. Spots added now will be prorated for the remaining sessions.

League Format

• 4-week league

• Self-led play

• Rotating partners each week

• Week 4 games will be DUPR rated

If you can’t find a drop-in that fits your schedule, remember that courts can always be booked for private group play.

Booking your own court is perfect if you:

• Want guaranteed court time

• Prefer playing with the same group each week

• Are working on improving your rating

• Want to schedule games around your availability

Simply log into your account, select an available time, and reserve your court.

Facility Reminder – Scent Free

Both of our facilities remain scent-free environments.

Please avoid wearing perfumes, colognes, or heavily scented products when visiting. For some members this is an accessibility issue, and we appreciate everyone helping keep the space comfortable for all players.

Coached Drill & Play

These sessions combine skill-building drills with guided gameplay and are great for players working on consistency, shot selection, and positioning.

Our Intro to Pickleball sessions run weekly and are perfect for:

• Brand new players

• Friends you want to introduce to the game
