Cross Court at the Meadows

Hey Cross Court Crew!
Week 3 is at our doorstep, and the courts are already warming up with good rallies and great vibes. Huge thanks to everyone who brought the energy last week—your passion, laughs, and love for the game are what make this community awesome. Let’s keep that momentum going!
We’re still in the early days of building out our leagues and drop-ins, and here’s something important to keep in mind:
If you’re thinking about signing up for a league or drop-in, don’t wait to see if it fills first. If everyone takes the “wait and see” approach, spots won’t move but when people commit early, it ensures we can keep these great programs running and growing. So if you’re interested, sign up now and be part of making it happen!

New / Reminders
• New drop-in / skills & drills sessions launching soon (for intermediate + beginner) — more details to follow.

• Arrive 10–15 minutes early so games can start on time.
• Hydrate & warm up! Prevent injuries, play better.
Tip of the Week
“Control the middle” – In doubles play, owning the middle of the court gives you flexibility. It forces opponents to hit more difficult angles and opens up opportunities for you. Try moving with your partner to cover middle zones, then shift out to attack the sidelines when openings appear.
Cross Court at the Meadows is located in the former horse arena at Arbutus Meadows Farm, 1515 Island Hwy E, Nanoose Bay, BC (same building as Skydive Vancouver Island).

See you on the courts, bring your best, be ready for fun, and let’s make Week 3 one to remember!
