Hey Meadows Players,
This time of year always pulls people in different directions. Warmer weather, more options, and more reasons to skip a session here and there.
But if you’re serious about improving, consistency matters.
Indoor play gives you a controlled environment where you can actually build your game. Clean bounces, no wind, and the ability to focus on execution instead of adjusting to conditions. That’s where real progress happens.
And beyond the game itself, your presence matters.
Every time you show up, you’re helping raise the level of play, keeping sessions competitive, and contributing to the kind of environment people want to be part of.
Cross Court works because of the people in it.
The ones who show up, compete the right way, and keep pushing their game forward.
OPEN PLAY! LAUNCHING IN MAY
Open Play is launching this May and it’s built for flexibility.
You can book a 2-hour session at any time throughout the day. Just sign up, show up, and play. No set format, no pressure. Come on your own. Play singles, doubles, or use the time to drill and work on your game.
This is designed to give you full control over how you play. Whether you’re looking for competitive games, casual hits, or just court time when it fits your schedule, Open Play makes it easy.
And if the weather isn’t cooperating or you can’t find a place to play, you’ve always got a reliable option indoors.
Book your time and get on the court.
Pro- $3+ tax

DROP-IN PLAY
Drop-ins are structured play sessions where you sign up for a time slot and come play without needing a partner.
Here’s how they work:
• You register ahead of time through the app
• Players are grouped by skill level (ex: 3.0–3.5)
• You rotate games with different players throughout the session
Think of it as organized, social gameplay. You just show up, get mixed in, and play a bunch of games without having to coordinate anything yourself.
They’re one of the easiest ways to:
• Meet other players
• Get a variety of games in
• Improve quickly through repetition
If you’ve never done one, it’s exactly like it sounds. You drop in, and we handle the rest.

If you’re playing more than once or twice a week, upgrading usually pays for itself pretty quickly.
The level of play right now is strong, and it’s continuing to build.
That comes from players showing up consistently, challenging themselves, and competing in a way that makes everyone better.
It’s also what keeps Meadows welcoming, competitive, and fun all at the same time.
Keep showing up. Keep improving. And as always, choose kindness on court.
See you out there,
The Cross Court Pickleball Team
